Service
In alignment with the values of Bon Secours, students, faculty, staff, and alumni are called to serve the community at SCHS! Opportunities for service are offered through groups like Students in Service, offered by the Office of Student and Alumni Affairs.
Students in Service members must complete 20 hours of service through group and individual service opportunities. Students in Service members who complete the program will receive a cord for recognition at graduation.
Information about joining Students in Service is available in Blackboard and will be periodically sent to student.

College Ambassadors
College Ambassadors are leaders on the SCHS campus and serve the College in a variety of ways. Students will be offered a professional, distinct, resume-worthy experience that will help them strengthen individual skills to become more successful in their healthcare profession.
Mission
The mission of the College Ambassador program is to cultivate leadership skills for students within a professional setting.
Eligibility
College Ambassadors is open to current students who have completed at least six weeks of courses. More information on the recruitment and application process is shared at the beginning of each semester.
Responsibilities
- Participate in College Ambassador Orientation
- Regularly attend meetings each semester
- Help facilitate communications on campus
- Participate enthusiastically in Student Affairs initiatives, events, and programs
Examples of Service Opportunities
- Give campus tours to prospective and incoming students
- Provide student prospective through focus groups and other opportunities
- Provide program information at new student events
- Serve as graduation marshals
- Raise awareness about student resources
