Bon Secours Southside College of Health Sciences has multiple thriving student organizations. Student organizations enrich the campus community by complimenting classroom learning, providing opportunities for leadership and professional development, supporting shared governance and promoting service within the local community.
Alpha Delta Nu (Nursing Honor Society)
Southside College of Health Sciences School of Nursing is chartered as the Alpha Epsilon Chapter of the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN) Alpha Delta Nu Honor Society. The objective of the Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society is to recognize the academic excellence of students in the study of Associate Degree Nursing.. The society encourages the pursuit of advance degrees in the profession of nursing as well as continuing education as a life-long professional responsibility.

Lambda Nu (Honor Society)
Lambda Nu is the national honor society for the radiological and imaging sciences. The objectives are to foster academic scholarship at the highest academic levels, promote research and investigation in the radiological and imaging sciences, and recognize exemplary scholarship. Though not a student organization, the chapter at Southside College of Health Sciences is the Virginia Omega Chapter. The chapter at Southside College of Health Sciences is the Virginia Omega Chapter. Students who have achieved academic honors are eligible for membership in the honor society.

Student Nurses' Association (SNA)
All Southside College of Health Sciences Nursing students are invited to join the Student Nurses' Association! SNA is a proud local chapter of the National Student Nurses' Association (NSNA), dedicated to empowering future registered nurses through leadership, advocacy, and professional development. SNA supports students on their journey to licensure by offering meaningful opportunities in community outreach, leadership, and networking, both within SCHS and across the broader national landscape.
Dues Payment
Membership in SCHS SNA requires payment of dues.
To receive a membership cord at graduation, students must also join the National Student Nurses' Association (NSNA) and submit dues to both organizations.
