Online Learning

Online learning is a distance education delivery method that uses technology to extend teaching and learning beyond the physical classroom. While there are many types of online learning, SCHS Nursing program including the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) and Licensed Practice Nursing to Registered Nursing (LPN-RN) program uses a hybrid model called Beyond the Lecture (BTL). This model integrates asynchronous learning into the learning management system that is completed prior to coming to class. Students then spend class time applying the content and engaging with faculty and students in the learning process.
