CB New Student Onboarding
As a newly admitted student at Southside College of Health Sciences (SCHS), you are required to meet clinical compliance requirements before beginning your program. To manage these requirements, SCHS partners with CastleBranch, a third-party company that provides background checks, drug testing and compliance management services. Through CastleBranch, you will submit and track your documentation to ensure you remain eligible for clinical placement.
Compliance requirements include entrance health screenings, certifications, background checks, and other program-specific items. Many requirements must also be updated annually or biannually while you remain enrolled. Students are responsible for meeting all deadlines and for any costs associated with compliance.
Important: Failure to complete your clinical compliance requirements by the stated deadlines may result in your admission being withdrawn or you inability to attend clinical experiences.
Each program has its own specific compliance checklist and timelines. Please select your program below for detailed instructions.
