Center for Student Success Launches The Little Hope PantryOur Center for Student Success has started the Little Hope Pantry (LHP) initiative on the Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing, Southside College of Health Sciences, and School of Medical Imaging campuses. The Little Hope Pantry is a non-threatening accessible resource for our students experiencing food insecurity. The model for this food pantry is to bring what you can, and take what you need. Faculty and staff are encouraged to bring non-perishable items to the donation boxes located at all three locations. |

Pollard Library Open House 9/13Check it out! Pollard Library is hosting an open house, with fun treats to celebrate the occasion, on September 13th, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Located on the ground floor across from Ions Hall, Pollard Library provides support and service to the students and staff of Southside College of Health Sciences. The library offers a collection of textbooks, study guides, and databases that are accessible to students and staff. |

SCHS SNA Chapter Participates in Two EventsBon Secours Southside College of Health Sciences SNA Chapter has been very busy holding two events recently. Their “Take Steps” event on Sunday, June 26 raised awareness and provided financial support for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. Six SCHS students volunteered at the event providing resources for patients and families struggling with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). |

SCHS Recognizes Pride MonthAs a ministry built on the foundation of serving those who are marginalized, Bon Secours Mercy Health recognizes Pride Month as a time to acknowledge the disparities faced by the LGBTQIA+ community and our role in addressing those disparities. As a ministry of higher education, our SCHS campus community is called to extend the compassionate ministry of Jesus to all who we serve. |
